The history of CAAIE, from an ICITA special track to a standalone annual conference
For its first five years, CAAIE ran as the "Education & Educational Technologies" special track within ICITA (the International Conference on Information Technology and Applications), before growing into a standalone annual conference in 2026.
The first year CAAIE ran as a fully standalone conference, following its growth out of the ICITA track series. Accepted papers were published in the Springer book series “Information Systems Engineering and Management.”
