Submission format, review process, and publication details
The purpose of CAAIE is to provide a platform for academics and professionals in computer technology and education to publish, present, meet, exchange ideas, and establish professional networks. It is a forum for specific disciplinary research, as well as multi-disciplinary studies.
Submitted papers for review must comply with the format of the Lecture Notes in Networks and Systems Springer series (see the Instructions for Authors on the Springer website), be written in English, must not have been published before, must not be under review for any other conference or publication, and must not include any information leading to the authors' identification. Author names, affiliations, and bibliographic references must not appear in the version submitted for evaluation by the Program Committee — this information is only added in the camera-ready version.
All papers will be subjected to a double-blind review by at least three members of the Program Committee. Based on the Program Committee's evaluation, a paper may be rejected or accepted by the Conference Chairs; full papers can only be accepted as full papers.
Poster papers and company papers are not published in the Conference Proceedings, being only presented and discussed. Authors of accepted poster papers should prepare an A1 vertical format poster for exhibition; posters are discussed in dedicated Work Sessions with a 7-minute limit each. Authors of accepted full papers will have 15 minutes to present their work, followed by approximately 5 minutes of discussion.
To ensure that a full paper is published, at least one author must be fully registered by the registration deadline, and the paper must comply with the suggested layout and page limit. All recommended changes must be addressed by the authors before submitting the camera-ready version.
Full papers will be published in Proceedings by Springer, in the Information Systems Engineering and Management book series. Poster and company papers will not be published, only presented at the conference. Published full papers will be submitted for indexation by Web of Science and Google Scholar, among others, and will be available in the SpringerLink Digital Library.
